More workshops on the horizon

I've hit some kind of strange job lottery since I moved to Sand Harbor. My days are slow-paced; my most stressful tasks are cooking (um, not really stressful). Still, I continue to look for employment but thankfully don't feel worried about it because I know I'm helping out here.

I got the bits are pieces needed to set up my old laptop with wireless access so I can internet and blog from my own room at my own leisure. My cousin did all the work and even let me borrow a router. I'm thankful for his help. I like my old laptop. Next I'm hoping to register for some grant-writing and non-profit management workshops through a local community foundation that I found using the Foundation Center's directory.

2011 is a year of personal growth and non-complaining. I don't make resolutions. I make decisions.*

*doesn't that sound bold and confident?!

My statement so far this year is going to be - Screw resolutions, I'm making plans!

I'm glad to have you back. And I'm glad you seem to be finding your way at least somewhat if you're digging for courses. Yay!

Best wishes in your search for workshops! It's neat that you've found those, and it sounds like you're really able to relax. Miss you!

Ooo, I like it! Definitely. I've heard the saying, "There is no 'try.' There is only 'do.'" I think you're well on your way.
