June Simple Woman's Daybook

My issue of the Simple Woman's Daybook for today, 1 June.

Outside my window...a vegetable garden that needs weeding.

I am thinking... of starting over.

I am thankful for... the Buddha's teachings, the Dharma. Without it I'd be reduced to a sniveling, cowering mess. Also, my friends and family who put up with my shenanigans.

I am learning... I'm very messy.
From the kitchen...ramen noodles. Seriously.

I am wearing... a red tank top, grungy army green sweatshirt, denim skirt, yellow-orange Toms.

I am creating... letter after letter after letter.

I am going... to be ok.

I am reading... An Experiment in Treason by Bruce Alexander.

I am hoping...this is rock bottom. Again.

I am hearing...the ballgame on the tv in the other room.

Around the house... my laundry's waiting to be washed.

One of my favorite things...currently, sizzlin' bacon sunflower seeds.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Letters. Laundry. Laughing.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...a painting by Frida Kahlo. I'm not sure of its name, but I like it.
