LetterMo Fail

I failed the LetterMo challenge in grand fashion. I was all caught up until the middle of February, and honestly, I lost interest. Also, life got busy. There were nights when all I could do when I came home from work was to crawl into bed. No dinner. No letters. Some of the cards I got for LetterMo were nice but unremarkable. I found I was only really interested in the letters that told something about the person, and that indicated that they were interested in corresponding. Also, if you sent me stickers, you probably got my attention. : ) I'd like to thank the folks who showed their crafty side by handmaking the card and/or envelope. I wish I was so skilled! I feel crafty if I even get the envelope colour to match the stationery somehow! I know not all of the stuff I sent out was golden, and I apologize.

I still have my LetterMo planning calendar and I still intend on writing to everyone on it, as well as replying to all the letters and cards I received. It might take me through March but I'll get it done! I wish I could say I'd get it all done by the end of February (that's tomorrow, right?) but no. I'd rather take my time and spend some time on each letter than just rush off a terse reply. So if you added yourself to my Postable (I"ll be closing it shortly), but haven't heard from me yet, I'm working on it.

I really enjoyed LetterMo, but to be honest I'm also glad that it's over now and that I don't have to sit down every evening to write another note.
That being said, a lot of (response) letters only start coming in now, so I think I'll still be a busy writer in March (just without the pressure:).
